Arjun Reddy is a 2017 Tollywood Blockbuster written and directed by Sandeep Vanga,stars Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
The film tells the story of Arjun Reddy Deshmukh (Deverakonda), a high-functioning alcoholic surgeon who has anger management problems. Arjun is on a self-destructive path after the marriage of his girlfriend Preethi Shetty (Pandey); the film focuses on his downfall and subsequent resurgence.
Now Shahid Kapoor, who is stepping into actor Vijay's shoes for the remake and the shooting has begun in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor will sport four different looks in the film and has been preparing for it over the last three months.The film will also star MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Lust Stories actor Kiara Advani as the female lead.Kabir Singh is scheduled to be released on 21 June 2019.
