Bullet To The Head Review -A treat for Stallone fans

 Rating: 6.5 / 10

‘Bullet To The Head’ features Sylvester Stallone doing what he is best known for. It’s commendable that the 66-year-old actor still doesn’t look like a complete has-been while taking on an army of men single-handedly. This one’s undoubtedly for the fans as the ‘Rocky’ legend star smashes and trashes enemies in Hulk-style abandon.

What’s it about..?

Bullet To The Head’ is based on the French graphic novel ‘Du Plomb Dans La Tete.’ Jimi Bobo (Sylvester Stallone) is a sturdy hitman who teams up with detective Taylor Kwon (Sung Kang) to bring down high-class criminals. However, the duo’s plan is not as easy as it appears, as deadly hitman Keegan (Jason Momoa) stands in their way.

The tattooed Stallone does his best to entertain the audience with lines like ‘You had me at f**k off’. He makes beating the baddies look as easy as swatting flies. Stallone is in full form, but a weak plot makes the proceedings more comical than hard-hitting. The plot is clichéd and after the first 15 minutes, you know how this movie is going to end. Jason Momoa of ‘Game Of Thrones’ fame makes for an interesting nemesis and delivers the second best performance in the film after Stallone. Same cannot be said about detective Sung Kang and Sarah Shahi who plays Stallone’s adopted daughter, who are worth little mention.
