Drishyam is a Family entertainer, In which superstar Mohanlal potray's the character of Georgekutty a common family man struggling for daily breads. We can see Mohanlal completely as a down to earth Character without any stardom.Meena will seen pairing opposite with Mohanlal.

Story :
The story begins as a simple and a rather conventionally presented family drama happening in a high range town, where a local Cable TV operator named George Kutty(Mohanlal). He is an orphan by birth, he discontinued his studies after fourth. Due to his hardworks he earned 5 acres of rubber plantation. later he married a tenth failed girl Rani(Meena) from a poor family. GeorgeKutty and Rani is blessed with two daughters Anju and Anu, thery are very good in studies. He shares a cordial and amiable relationship with his two childrens. Suddenly all of his happiness came to an end, when Georgekutty and his family lands in a trouble. Movie story takes a new turn from there on.

Performances:
The movie illustrates one of the finest performances by Mohanlal. The movie was advertised as a return of the actor from a super-hero image which he had cultivated with a string of movies, back to that of an average man. The actor has taken full advantage of this opportunity to display a superb performance. The rest of the cast have all done their roles really well but watch out for a sterling show from Kalabhavan Shajon, who is terrific as a corrupt cop.

Based on an intricate screenplay that demands an amazing competence to make it convincing, Jeethu Joseph come out with an impressive finesse. The story has many layers that compel the viewer to enjoy this highly entertaining movie. Sujith Vaassudev’s visuals are good and the music by Anil Johnson and Vinu Thomas add to the mood.

Drishyam is directed by Jeethu Joseph after the megahit movie Memories, and is produced by Antony Perambavoor under the banner of Ashirvaad cinemas. Drishyam's Soundtrack and background score is composed by Anil Thomas and Vinu Mohan. Cinematography is handled by Sujith Vassudev.

Verdict:
It is a beautifully made film sure to touch the hearts of the people who see it.

  1. Drishyam is Director Jeethu Joseph’s fourth venture after hugely successful memories with Pritviraj. His debut as director was the investigation thriller Detective which had interesting plot but execution was not up to the mark. But he improved drastically after each film and Drishyam can be considered as his best till date. His three films are thrillers and he delivers best in this genre. After Memories now he is considered one of leading and very promising among new comers.
