White & Black Box Of Koothara :
The story of the movie is well crafted and asks some important basic questions about individual outlook in the life. Director Rajendran has made a good movie which keeps audience interested with the good narration incorporated in the movie. However, in some sequences the movie seems to get bit sluggish and slow.Females leads Bhavana, Gautami Nair, Shrita Sivadas and Janani Iyer do not have much to perform as the focus is mainly on the three male leads. The other members of the star cast have also done a decent job.

The leading trio have done a good job in playing the role of disillusioned college students. Mohanlal who is one of the biggest stars of the Malayalam movie industry has once again delivered a flawless performance. The music of the movie of team Thakara is also good.Cineamatography is really good.

Koothara is produced by Shahul Hammeed Marikar under the banner of Marikar Films. Soundtrack and background score were composed by Gopi Sundar, whereas cinematography is handled by Pappu, and the editing is carried out by Praveen K. L. and N. B. Srikanth.

Verdict: Koothara is a sign of good times ahead for Indian Cinema from Youth
