Maverick director Mani Ratnam is getting ready with his next project and if all goes well, it will go on floors in the month of June. Sources say that Mani Ratnam has convinced Karthi to play the lead role in this film and Sai Pallavi of Premam fame is likely to play his romantic interest.
It is said that Sai Pallavi has recently attended the photo shoot at Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies office and the director is said to have impressed with the actress. Mani ‘s lucky charm AR Rahman will be composing the music for the film and Ravi Varman is likely to crank the camera. Karthi has recently completed the shoot of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Thozha and he will be wrapping up Kashmora by May.
