With the recently released rom-com ‘Rome Juliet’ actor Jeyam Ravi has tasted success after a long gap in his career as a hero. Now Ravi has signed a film with a promising director Shakti Soundar Rajan, who proved his mettle with films such as ‘Nanayam’ and ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’.The film, which is untitled yet, is said to be an horror thriller and the shooting of this film has begun in Ooty.
The ghost fever has gripped Kollywood for the past couple of years and most of the leading heroes and heroines are eager to do such a film to capitalize. As far as actresses are concerned Nayanthara is doing ‘Maya’, Trisha and Hansika ‘Aranmanai 2’ and Raai Lakshmi ‘Sowcarpet’. Lakshmi Menon will be pairing up for the first time with Ravi in this film while Kaali Venkat will be appearing in an important supporting character.
Meanwhile,Jayam Ravi has two more films ‘Thani Oruvan’ directed by his brother Mohan Raja and ‘Appatakkar’ directed by Suraaj getting ready to hit the screens soon.Lakshmi Menon is also busy shooting for Ajith’s 56th film, which she is playing the younger sister of the ‘thala’. The movie is helmed by Siruthai Siva.
