Munnariyippu Movie Review

Munnariyippu  is a dramatic movie directed by noted cinematographer venu, after his critically acclaimed movie Daya. The movie  feature Megastar Mammootty and Aparna Gopinath in the lead role.

Story In Details:

We can see Megastar Mammootty as a middle-aged simple man without any stardom in Venu's second directional movie Munnariyippu. Raghavan(Mammootty) who has committed two murders is out from jail after serving imprisonment. At this juncture Anjali Arackal (Aparna Gopinath) enters into his life.The reason why Raghavan committed two murders is still unknown.She is baffled by the curiosity of why a man would do so. Her curiosity leads her to Raghavan’s diary and notes that she publishes. The published material becomes a sensation and the matter gets great media attention. This leads to Raghavan’s release and Anjaly takes this opportunity in finding more about Raghavan,which will be revealed out as the movie story develops.  

Aparna Gopinath gets a meaty role and she is very good.Ranji Panicker, Joy Mathew, Nedumudi Venu etc are good in their brief roles.The plot looks very interesting.The movie getting thrilled by the script and the direction of Venu.

Munnariyippu is produced by ace director Renjith and his friends under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. Bijibal composes music and director Venu himself handles the camera for Munnariyippu.
