Tamil remake of super-hit film "Drishyam" is always on news.Ulaganayakan Kamal Hassan who has started shooting for the Tamil remake of Malayalam superhit 'Drishyam' has decided to name it as 'Papanasam'. Directed by Jeethu Joseph who helmed the original, the movie will feature Kamal hassan as Saiva Pillai from Thirunelveli. Goutami comes up as his heroine while Suresh Balaje,is in charge of the production of the movie.There are also reports that the music of the film will be composed by Gibran who have done the music for Kamal's previous films like "Vishwaroopam 2" and "Uthama Villain".
"Drishyam" was released in Malayalam in 2013 and became a record-breaking film in Malayalam. It starred Mohanlal and Meena in the lead. The movie was later re-made in Telugu and Kannada and both were proved successful in the box office.
'Papanasam' is expected to be another tough character with enough space for Kamal to prove himself once again. This title role which was done by Mohanlal in Malayalam was done by Prabhu in Kannada and Venkitesh in Telugu. All the versions of the movie were big hits in their respective languages.
