Prithviraj, Indrajith and Fahadh team up for Lijo’s Anti-Christ

Director Lijo Jose Pelliserry is known for films with varied subjects and treatment.  Lijo is planning to do the new project ‘Antichrist’ well before ‘Disco’ which has been postponed due to the in-completion of the script. Anti Christ would start rolling as soon as Prithviraj returns from London.

His Nayakan, City of God, Amen and the upcoming Disco are testimony to this. Now, the buzz is that, Lijo is planning to bring three top stars of the industry Prithviraj, Indrajith and Fahadh Faasil for a big budget horror-thriller titled Anti-Christ.

However, Lijo says it is too early to reveal much about the film as he’s planning to release it only next year. National Award winner P F Mathew, who scripted films like Kuttisrank, will be scripting Anti-Christ. Riding on the success of Amen, Lijo Pellissery has been receiving a number of offers. The director has been invited to helm a project in bollywood, which is believed to be the remake of Amen.

Filmmakers were apparently apprehensive about a controversial title like Anti-Christ, which is akin to Satan. But Lijo clarifies that the reference to Anti-Christ is something which exists in the Bible, and is not his creation. “There have been films portraying Anti-Christ in other languages, but not in Malayalam or in any other Indian languages,” he says.
