Asif Ali has been signed big budget thriller 'Mosayile Kuthirameenukal'

After finding that much elusive hit in 'Honey Bee', Asif Ali is finally trying to get his stats right. He is now trying to give dates only to films on which he has a finer role to do.

Now Asif Ali has just been signed on for a big-budget thriller film.Debutant director Ajith Pillai's curiously titled  'Mosayile Kuthirameenukal' will have the actor essaying the lead. The director tells us, "The film is a tribute to Shawshank Redemption. The entire movie will be shot entirely amidst the beautiful locations of Lakshadweep.  A full fledged Asif Ali movie, the other details of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.This shoot for this movie will kick start only by October, before which we will give you the details.This is apparently the first time Asif is being signed on to star in a big- budget flick where he will play the solo hero.
