Director Venkat Prabhu has signed on super hot star Karthi for his next film, and guess what it has been titled? ‘Biryani’, of all things! Yes, and the film, in keeping with the style of all other Venkat Prabhu films has a tagline that goes ‘A Venkat Prabhu Diet’.
Our readers might remember that Venkat Prabhu had earlier directed films like ‘Goa’ and ‘Mankatha’, both of which were huge hits at the box office. Quite naturally, expectations regarding ‘Biryani: A Venkat Prabhu Diet’ are quite high. And with Karthi joining the cast, they have even increased multiform.
The actor, who chooses his roles quite selectively, has wrapped up his latest film ‘Shaguni’ that would soon be released. It was reported that Venkat Prabhu had plans to start a 3D film that would star Suriya in the lead role, but as of now, it’s ‘Biryani’ that the director would start working on.
