The successful combination of director Vetri Maaran and Dhanush have churned out super hit films namely Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai. Before shooting for the sequel of Vada Chennai, the duo has joined hands for a commercial flick titled Asuran. Shooting for ‘Asuran’ will start from January 26. Manju Warrier is debuting in Tamil by this movie.
The latest addition to the crew of Asuran is composer GV Prakash, who is reuniting with Vetri Maaran and Dhanush after a long hiatus. The composer took to Twitter to reveal that it is his fourth film with the director and actor.Earlier, it was said Yuvan Shankar Raja could be the composer.
The movie to be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations, Vetrimaaran who joined hands with Dhanush in films like Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai will be directing Asuran which is based on the novel ‘Vekkai’ written by Poomani.Asuran is 71st film of GV Prakash Kumar as the music composer. Vetrimaaran and Dhanush will soon announce the rest of the cast and crew of the film
