Ayngaran International has snapped the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s Miruthan. Originally produced by Michael Rayappan of Global Infotainment, this film is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan of Naaigal Jaakirathai fame.Lakshmi Menon is playing the female lead opposite Ravi. Miruthan has music by Imman while the audio is likely to be launched by the end of this year.
Idhu Namma Aalu is said to be a breezy romantic entertainer.The film touted to be a romantic comedy starring SImbu and Nayanthara,directed by Pandiraj was launched way back in 2014. Soori teams up with Simbu for the first time for comedy and Andrea plays an important role in the flick.
Kathakali is said to be an edge of the seat action thriller.Catherine Thresa as the lead heroine while Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi is scoring music for the flick and it will release on the Pongal day as the post-production work will be completed in a break-neck speed.
Actor Jiiva who has proved his talent and versatility as an actor is back in a rustic avtar with 'Thirunaal' directed by B.S.Ramanath of 'Ambasamuthiram Ambani' fame. Jiiva plays a local rowdy in the film. Nayanthara who is seeing back to back hits in her career has acted as Jiiva's lady love in the film.The film is expected to hit the screens on Pongal.
Aranmanai 2 is an upcoming Tamil horror comedy film written and directed by Sundar C. The film features Siddharth,Sundar C, Trisha and Hansika Motwani in the leading roles, while Soori will play a supporting role. A sequel to the successful 2014 film Aranmanai, the film is announced to be released for Thai Pongal 2016.
