Kavya Madhavan as Taxi Driver

Kavya Madhavan is signed in to play the character of a she-taxi driver in an upcoming film She-Taxi which will be directed by Saji Surendran. The story revolves around the events that happen to a She –Taxi driver on a journey to Coorg with three passengers.  She comes across various experiences during the journey which makes a permanent mark on her life.

Anoop Menon will play the male lead in the movie.  This is Anoop Menon’s second movie with Saji Surendran after Angry Babies. Ansiba Hassan plays a key role in the movie as well. Other main casts of the film is K.B. GaneshKumar, Suraj Venjararamoodu and others.  The script of the film is by Krishna Poojappura.The shooting is scheduled to begin by October 20th with Coorg and Gundalpettu as the main locations.

This is somewhat a comeback for Kavya since she was missing from the films for the past few months. She will also join the cast of an upcoming movie Last Bell where she will play the role of a school teacher.  It would be interesting to see which direction she taxi will take her career to.
