Rajesh Pillai', the director of trendsetter 'Traffic, started shooting for Mili.The director took four long years to work on the next project, after Traffic. Mili will see Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul sharing space for the first time.Apparently, the actress will be seen playing the title character in Mili, a woman who is very strong and independent by nature.Incidentally this will be the last film by Amala Paul before her impending marriage with director Vijay.
Mahesh Narayanan, who did the editing of films like Beautiful, Traffic, Mumbai Police and Visudhan, turns scriptwriter with this film.Gopi Sundar and Shaan Rahman will be doing the background score.Kasthuri and Sanusha are also part of the cast of 'Mili' produced by Sathish of Ordinary films. Gopi Sundar and Shaan Rahman does the music for the film,while Anish lal does the camera.
