Praise The Lord Malayalam Movie Review

Praise the Lord is a pure adaptation of Zacharia's novel 'Praise The Lord', which also has the same title and written by Paul Zacharia, a Malayalam short story writer. The Malayalam movie is directed by debutant director Shibu Gangadharan.The movie features megastar Mammootty (Joychan) and Reenu Mathews (Ancy) in the lead roles. 
Let's begin with the movie's story and review.

The story of 'Praise The Lord' moves around the life of Joy (Mammootty) who is an immensely rich Pala based uneducated farmer and hardly aware of the life beyond his small town as he didn't get much chance to move around and explore the outside world. He lives happily with his wife Ancy (Reenu Mathews) and two children, but Joy's peaceful life came to an end,Once a newly married couple Samkutty (Ahmed Sidhique) and Annie (Akamksha Puri) enters. who marry secretly without taking permission from their parents and elope from their native place. Movie story takes a new turn from there on.All this changes Joy's outlook of life and sudden twist came in the story. Then, the story moves on.

According to the movie review, the family-drama movie openly presents the issues and ways of the modern generation in a satirical manner very well. The script is penned by T P Devarajan is very much liked and also, finds the presence of all the elements needed for a commercial entertainer. The performance of the cast is applauded and movie scored positive comments.

The movie has nothing to do to religion or religious aspects, which is confused by its name. The music is composed by Shaan Rahman in the movie that has four songs. The cinematography is by Pradeep Nair. Well-written script, acting of cast and music is good in the movie that forms it a good package, and that's the reason it scored good reviews by the grace of lord.

Verdict: Mammootty is incredibly good as Joychayan.Watch it for Mammootty
