Pakida Movie Review

Pakida is a mystery thriller directed by Sunil Karayattukara starring Asif Ali and Biju Menonin in lead roles. The movie also stars Aju Varghese, Vishnu Raghav, Anjo Jose, Sajid, Shine Tom Chacko and Malavika Nair. The film is produced by Sagar Shereef and Kartha Seagulf and music is by Bijibal. Pakida is a story of five friends who are very close to each other. The movie tells the story of Aadi (character played by Asif Ali) who happens to meet a mysterious and concealing traveler named George Koshy Anthrapper and travels with him from Kochi to Madurai. During their journey, they meet two other characters Sunny and Kani who bring a huge change in their lives.

Pakida is a story of five individuals who are graduates in automobile engineering and share a strong bond of friendship. The story unfolds as the lead character meets a stranger and travels with him. The movie has comic elements as well the thrill of suspense. The songs blend well with the journey of the movie. Performances by actors is praiseworthy and so is the direction. Performances
Asif Ali as Aadhi does complete justice to his role. Though Asif's act resembles much of his previous characters, he is enjoyable in the role. Biju Menon as George Koshy Anthraper is stylish in his looks, and delivers a good act throughout.

Technical Aspects
The main positive of the movie lies in the music by Bijibal. Though two songs are hummable. Background score is energetic and helps the movie much whenever the script falters. Cinematography by Sameer Haq is yet another positive for the movie. Sameer proves to be a notable talent with rich visuals and excellent camera angles. A re-touch on the script could have helped to enhance the thrilling elements of the movie. 

Overall  Pakida remains to be a decent watchable thriller.Go and enjoy the game between Adhi and Anthraper.
