The much hyped solar scam issue exposed the involvement of actress-dancer Shalu Menon in the scandal. Now a new actress' name is hitting the corner. It is none other than actress Urmila Unni's daughter and the upcoming actress Uthara Unni.
The role of the actress in the scam is suspicious. The actress had posted in her Facebook page that she has been selected as the brand ambassador the Team Solar based in UK and also expressed her gratitude to its MD R B Nair and Lekshmi.
It has been reported that the actress has travelled two times with the accused Saritha, who is from Team Solar, from Chennai to Kerala. Biju Radhakrishnan was also present with them during a journey. Saritha and Biju only paid for her tickets. This is said to be happened in May 2012.
The special investigating team is likely to question her after her links with Saritha have been exposed. Her role in the scam will also be examined. The team will also examine whether the actress accidentally fell into Saritha’s trap.
When contacted her mother and actress Urmila Unni said that her daughter cooperated with the solar company as a model. Apart from that she has no links with the accused, said Urmila Unni.
