Even as his second Mollywood outing is just around the corner, Dulquer signed his Tamil debut. And now, news doing the rounds has it that the youngster has already got his ticket to Bollywood. Sources close to the actor say that Dulquer is mulling making his big debut in Hindi with the remake of director Lingusamy’s Tamil hit, Paiyaa, which catapulted actor Karthi to the big league in Kollywood. An industry insider says, “Dulquer has been choosing his films with caution. Dulquer has already signed his first film in Tamil, to be directed by ad filmmakers JD and Jery, who has working experience with his father, Mammootty as well,” he says, adding, “It’s only natural that now, Dulquer is ready to explore more to make it really big.”
When we got in touch with Lingusamy, he said, “The rights to Paiyaa have been sold to a Bollywood producer and in fact, they had approached me to direct it in Hindi with Arjun Kapoor. But I have other commitments currently. I am not aware if Dulquer is doing the project.”
