Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in 'Seemaraja', which became a success at the box office and Vignesh Shivn got done with his duties for Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam at the start of the year.
The latest update we hear is that Vignesh and Sivakarthikeyan have decided to join hands for a new film in the second half of 2019. Though Kollywood insiders first came up with the news that the director had met Vijay Sethupathi many times for script narrations, it was later being speculated that a film with Sivakarthikeyan had been finalized.
Sivakarthikeyan currently has films with Rajesh, Ravikumar, and Mithran in the pipeline. The project will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions who are on a success streak lately with films like ‘2.O’, 'Kolamaavu Kokila' and 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Vignesh Shivan is an actor, director and lyricist and gained recognition with his second film 'Naanu Rowdy Dhan'. He has penned down some chart bursting lyrics for various artists. Sources say that Vignesh is planning to complete the final draft this month and begin the pre-production in January 2019.
