Joy decides to fight against the party and files a case against them in the court. Will he succeed in the case or not? This forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Jayasurya scores through the role of Joy Thakkolkkaran. His mannerisms are lovable and he has executed the Thrissur slang to a near perfection. Aju Varghese as Greenu Sharma is also convincing in his role. Nyla Usha as Anu, does justice to her role, though she had nothing much to perform. Another pick among actors is Sreejith Ravi in the role of Abhayakumar, a driver who works for the firm. His expressions and dialogues adds humour to the movie. TG Ravi as Achuthan Master, is also good in his role of a Gandhian, who raises his voice against injustice.

Other Cast Innocent (John Thakkolkaran), Rachana, Mala Aravindan (Ayyappan), Idavela Babu (KC Mathews), Vinod Kovoor (Pappan Kottapuram), Lishoy (Pauly), Irshad (Police Inspector), are also convincing in their roles. Technical Aspects Cinematography by Sujith Vasudev is commendable. He has framed the beauty of Thrissur in those rich visuals. Music by Bijibal is yet another hit. Three songs of the movie are well placed and are hummable. BGM of the movie suits well to the simplicity, the movie carries through. Ranjith Sankar has given out a feel-good entertainer through Punyalan Agarbattis. There are several one-liners in the movie to make you laugh out loud. Though there are flaws in the script which can be pointed out here and there, you can easily neglect those as the movie entertains throughout.
Verdict
Punyalan Agarbattis have number of situations to make you laugh, thrilled and fall in love. Enjoy this natural agarbathis smell
