Sujoy Ghosh's latest film Badla, a revenge drama, has opened to rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. The film has Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Shah Rukh Khan's production house Red Chillies produced the venture. Badla is based on the Spanish film The Invisible Guest.
With the film doing exceptionally well at the box-office, reports have already emerged that a Tamil remake is in the pipeline and that it might star Trisha in the title role that was essayed by Taapsee Pannu. The producer is yet to make an official announcement about the project.
Trisha is waiting for the release of Garjanai and Sathuranga Vettai 2. She is also the part of several movies including a bilingual 1818 made in Tamil and Telugu & Paramapadham Vilayattu that are in different production stages.
