Amala Paul's next is based on true story

Amala Paul has recently finished shooting for her heroine-centric action thriller film ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola’. Now she has signed her next film in which she will be essaying the role of a forensic surgeon.To be directed by Anoop Panicker and scripted by Abhilash Pillai, no other Indian filmmaker explored the mysteries in the forensic department through their protagonists.  

The movie is inspired from the book "Oru police surgeonite Ormmakuripukal" and is based on a true story.It is not always that we get to see a film that has the protagonist as a female forensic surgeon, and this one revolves around her maverick and unique methods to solve a mysterious case.   

Abhilash Pillai, the scriptwriter of the movie, who said that the movie would probably be the first in India to have a forensic surgeon as the protagonist. “Amala Paul plays the role of Dr.Bhadra, who is the chief police surgeon in Tamil Nadu.” He also added that almost 60% of the technicians have been the ones who worked on Ratsasan. The film  jointly produced by AJ Films and White Screen Media, the principal shoot of the film is scheduled to commence from March 2019. The makers are planning to shoot important scenes of the film in Chennai and Coimbatore.
