Asif Ali starrer upcoming movie, directed by V K Prakash is titled as Nirnayakam. The movie penned by Bobby-Sanjay will have Pattam Pole fame Malavika Mohan in the female lead.
“This movie is mainly about relationships. It delves into the many layers of relationships such as that between a mother and a son, a father and a son, a young girl and her grandfather and even the commitment towards one’s profession. It also questions the ways one deals with various situations. When is it that one should react to a particular social issue? How to rekindle a relationship? These are some of the questions tackled in the movie,” says VKP, as the crew go in for a close-up shot.
Asif Ali plays the role of Ajay, who comes from a broken home. His parents, played by Prem Prakash and Tisca Chopra, have been living apart for the past 17 years. Ajay grew up with his mother in Mysore and is a cadet of the National Defence Academy.After visiting his mother, he travels to his father’s place in Kerala where he gets entangled in some unprecedented situations.
Malavika, last seen with Dulquer Salmaan in Pattam Pole, says her character, Saral, is a Malayali girl brought up in Mysore. “She is a ballet dancer and an anchor in Ajay’s life,” says Malavika.
Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Hemanth Menon,Prakash Bare, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Mukundan, Sudeer Karamana, Ashokan, Kunjan, Saiju Kurup, Lena, Sanusha and Sreedevi Unni will play the other supporting roles in the movie. The final schedule filming of the movie is progressing at various locations of Pune.
