Jilla is an upcoming 2014 thriller film written and directed by R. T. Nesan and starring Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.The film, produced by R. B. Choudary under the banner Super Good Films will feature a soundtrack composed by D. Imman and cinematography by R. Ganesh.The first look of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jilla’ has been released.The film is scheduled for a release during the 2014 Pongal festival.
Most portions of the film have been completed and the film’s unit is now in Osaka, Japan, for shooting a song sequence. Initially, the makers had planned to shoot the song portions in Bulgaria, but later the location had been shifted to Japan due to unfavourable weather conditions in Bulgaria. The shooting of the film is expected to be over by December after which the post-production work will begin in full swing.
