1983 - A Movie About Cricket

Debutante director Abrid Shine has already started shooting for his film '1983', which Chronicles the best achievement of the year for the nation-Yes, the winning of the cricket world cup. Progressing at Mulanthuruthy in Kochy, the movie can be called as a family drama that revolves round cricket.

The movie features Nivin Pauly as Rameshan,would perform the character of a cricket lover, who hasn't achieve something big in this sport and later  whose love for the game affects his life..Anoop Menon would do the character of a cricket coach. Joy Mathew, Rajeev Pillai ,Jacob Gregory and Saiju Kurup are also part of the 1983' team.  Earlier it was reported that Anoop Menon will hold the pen for the script of this movie.Now the movie is written by the director with dialogues by Bipin Chandran. 1983 produced by Shams films has Pradheesh Varma behind camera and music by Gopi Sundar.
